Traditional manufacturing processes use cotton wool, desiccant sachets, special seals and other materials to lower the level of oxygen and humidity inside sealed storage containers. Other manufacturers use nitrogen flushing for that purpose.
But what makes things difficult is that all those solutions are relatively expensive yet not very effective.
Furthermore, using desiccants inside bottles increases the risk of accidental ingestion by consumers of these desiccants.
